Sensorial Feature
This elegant wine is made from Merlot and Cabernet grapes produced in a very old wineyard in the middle of Venice Lagoon. When in summer the grapevine has not enaugh water, her root touch salty sea water: it gives the particular sapidity taste of this wine.
The best grapes are macerated for 10/12 days and then Ammiana Wine mellows for 6 months in barrell ending ageing in the bottle. Deep ruby redwith shades of violet. Fruity: raspberry, blackberry and soft fruits. Complex, but well balanced and fine, good sapidity.
Gastronomic Matches
Excellent with meat, game dishes, cold meat and aged cheese.
Serving Temperature
Served at 18° C, maybe opened 2/3 hours before drinking
